Guaranteed Hours:30 hours minimum over contract working pattern to be agreed

Fixed term from 1 August 2025 and run for 12 months

The Opportunity:

The CDCS Training Fellows will assist the Centres team in our mission to grow capacity for datadriven and computational research across CAHSS. They will work closely with the Training Manager todevelop the Centres training programme delivering a series of workshopsand tutorialson areas of specific research methods expertise. They may also be involved in events and projects developed by the Centre as appropriate.

The EdinburghCentre for Data Culture & Societyis an initiative based in the Innovation Services of theEdinburgh Future Instituteas part of theDataLed Methods and Research TechnologyGroup. It provides a space for experimentation innovation and skills development and gives tailoredsupport to research groups and projects. The Centre offersextensive training opportunities across a variety of applied digital research methods and work to showcase the potential of datarich andapplieddigital post will contribute to a growing programme of CDCS and Innovation Services activities and provides an exciting opportunity to shape training provision within that programme.
