Who you are:

Medical Acumen or Relevant Degree (Plus): A bachelors degree in journalism publishing or a scientific discipline or knowledge of medical terminology and the ABPI code of practice is a plus.
What youll do:
Produce Engaging SEO Medical News: Source and write SEO news on medical research public health policies and global healthcare trends daily.
Deliver Compelling OnCamera Reports: Report on camera in an engaging and compelling manner bringing medical news to life.
Publish Accurate & Optimised Content: Publish medically accurate articles in EMJs house style ensuring optimal search engine visibility.
Provide International Congress Coverage: Attend international congresses and press briefings delivering written and video coverage of key events making a real impact on our content.
Conduct Key Leader Interviews: Confidently conduct oncamera and written interviews with Key Opinion Leaders and healthcare experts contributing to highvalue content.
Monitor & Report on Emerging Trends: Track emerging health trends and provide insightful coverage through EMJs unique perspective.
Collaborate for MultiPlatform Content: Work with the editorial team to adapt content for web email and social media channels ensuring broad reach.
Contribute to Podcast Growth & Network Building: Support the growth of EMJs podcast series and build a network of specialists across diverse clinical fields.
Key Information
Salary:(based on experience)
Hours: 8.30am 5pm MonFri
Working pattern: Hybrid min 3 days in the office (FT in office during probation)
Reporting to: Managing Editor
Location: Our buzzing London/Moorgate office
We offer a hybrid work environment balancing office and remote work. To support your training and development during your initial threemonth probation this period will be fully officebased five days a week. Following this we anticipate a regular office presence of at least three days a week to maintain collaboration and team connection.
