Design Technology Teacher Outstanding School Surrey
An Outstanding Ofstedrated secondary school in Surrey is seeking a creative and skilled Design Technology Teacher to join their innovative and wellresourced department. This is a fulltime permanent position teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5. The school prides itself on fostering practical skills and design thinking.
Responsibilities:
The successful Design Technology Teacher will plan and deliver engaging and practical lessons that inspire students creativity and technical ability. You will teach across various specialisms within Design Technology (e.g. Resistant Materials Graphics Product Design) ensuring a safe and stimulating workshop environment. Assessing student work providing constructive feedback and contributing to the development of the Design Technology curriculum are key responsibilities for this Design Technology Teacher role. An excellent Design Technology Teacher is required.
Requirements:
Applicants must be a qualified Design Technology Teacher (QTS) with a relevant degree. Proven experience teaching Design Technology at the secondary level is essential along with strong practical skills and knowledge across relevant specialisms. Excellent communication organisational and classroom management skills are required.
