Job Description
A dynamic and knowledgeable Economics Teacher is required to join an Outstanding Mixed school in Camden. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 4 and 5 with the principles of economics and their application to the real world.
Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging Economics Teacher lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5 (GCSE and ALevel).
- Develop students understanding of microeconomic and macroeconomic concepts theories and models.
- Foster a stimulating and analytical learning environment that encourages critical thinking and problemsolving in an economic context.
- Assess and monitor student progress in Economics providing insightful feedback to support their academic development.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Economics or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Economics at Key Stages 4 and 5 (ALevel experience essential).
- A strong academic background in Economics and a passion for the subject.
- Excellent communication and instructional skills capable of making complex economic concepts accessible and engaging for students.
