Job Description
Are you a seasoned warehouse professional with a passion for optimizing operations and leading highperforming teams Were seeking a dynamic Warehouse Manager to spearhead our logistics and inventory control ensuring seamless efficiency and driving continuous improvement.
In this pivotal role youll be the driving force behind our warehouse operations managing the flow of goods implementing strategic inventory systems and fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership:
- Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving storing picking packing and shipping ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse layouts and workflows to maximize space utilization and streamline processes.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Inventory Management:
- Establish and maintain accurate inventory control systems conducting regular cycle counts and audits to minimize discrepancies.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movement optimize stock levels and generate insightful reports.
- Forecast demand and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely replenishment of inventory.
- Team Leadership & Safety:
- Recruit train and mentor warehouse staff fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations promoting a culture of safety awareness.
- Manage warehouse equipment including forklifts and other material handling equipment ensuring proper maintenance and safe operation.
- Logistics & Coordination:
- Coordinate with suppliers carriers and internal departments to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Manage shipping documentation and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Work closely with customer service to resolve order discrepancies.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of proven experience in warehouse management.
- Strong leadership and teambuilding skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
