IT Project Manager HR Systems (Workday SaaS Delivery)
Based in Toronto and supporting a client in the insurance industry this role focuses on delivering highimpact technology solutions within a global organization. The successful candidate will lead strategic projects across Human Resources Finance and Risk Management driving digital transformation and improving the overall employee experience.

Salaried: $6674 per hour.
Incorporated Business Rate: $8088 per hour.
12month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.
Weekday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.
Hybrid work: 3 office days from Tuesday to Thursday.
Responsibilities:
Manage the entire project lifecycle from definition and scope through implementation.
Develop project plans and drive milestones to ensure successful project delivery.
Employ project management methodologies and tools such as Microsoft Project.
Identify coordinate and manage resources and key stakeholders.
Ensure effective change management practices are implemented throughout the project.
Manage communication plans training and documentation deliverables.
Deliver projects on time within budget and within defined scope.
Provide regular project status updates to all stakeholders.
Lead and support HRrelated projects with a focus on Workday and other HR technologies.
Support Finance and Risk Management teams with technological solutions that enhance operational effectiveness.
Collaborate with geographically dispersed teams to manage global projects from inception to deployment including occasional late meetings to coordinate with Asiabased teams.
Monitor and manage project baselines to ensure activities occur as planned in terms of scope budget and schedule.
Identify risks and issues and lead development of mitigation and resolution plans.
Build consensus and manage multiple stakeholders including those not directly reporting to the project team.
What you will need to succeed:
Bachelor s degree.
PMP and CSM certifications.
5 years of experience in project management leading full technical project delivery cycles.
Experience working on HR system/application projects particularly with Workday or ADP.
Experience delivering SaaS tools.
Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
Expertise in Microsoft Project Excel Word Visio.
Expertise in Agile tools such as JIRA.
Experience with API integrations.
Experience working with geographically dispersed teams.
Prior experience in matrix organizations and managing multiple vendor resources.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal leadership and negotiation abilities.
Effective project planning judgment and decisionmaking skills.
Analytical and problemsolving capabilities.
Proven ability to work independently and handle uncertainty.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and provide timely clear status updates.
Ability to translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions.
Experience running HR projects from a technical perspective (nice to have).
Familiarity with insurance and financial services environments (nice to have).
