Job Description
Responsibilities:
Contribute to test process tools and methodologies to include both manual & automated test .
Responsible for interpreting testability requirements and ensure coverage in test case design.
Should present test plan to the leads and the product owner for approval before .
Work closely with the scrum team to drive implement and maintain tests in an agile environment.
Should assess the impact of design changes to determine the optimal level of testing.
Develop methods and perform load and performance testing.
Integrate testing with the continuousintegration process.
Troubleshooting mindset an ability to break down a system or process systematically and effectively into subparts to identify failure mechanisms.
Ensure proper analysis and documentation of test results.
Actively participate in team retrospectives. Recommend & implement improvements to test strategy & planning.
Possess excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
Ensure all testing deliverables are of high quality and compliant.
Perform indepth regression testing when bugs are resolved.
Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices learn new testing and automation techniques and assist team members.
Required Skills:
- Experience in SCADA Controllers or any industrial automation components like RTU PLC IED testing is MUST
- Experience in industrial automation protocols like Modbus DNP3 IEC 101/104 IEC 61850 etc. is MANDATORY.
- Domain experience in Energy Power Utilities.
- Selenium or similar framework
- Web based application and client server applications.
- Experience in testing/ quality assurance with web based and client server applications.
- Should have familiarity with Agile Scrum Methodology
- Solid knowledge on SQL and scripting
- Experience in MAnual API testing automation testing using Selenium or similar framework.
- Understanding of the web/ desktop application development cycle and programming techniques and tools.
- Should have the ability to write Java code for the purpose of testing solution code (eg. White box testing).
- Good Communication skills
