Job Description
Role Purpose:
Seeking a motivated and skilled procurement professional to lead the negotiation of artificial intelligence (AI) cloud and other cuttingedge technology agreements as a key member of the Enterprise IT Infrastructure Procurement team. This role is integral to shaping our organizations approach to technology sourcing and offers the chance to drive impactful negotiations and develop as a thought leader in AI and innovative technology procurement.
The position involves developing and executing procurement strategies leading complex agreement negotiations vendor management and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders. In addition to driving NBCUniversal initiatives this individual will collaborate with Comcast and Sky Procurement Teams as well as business stakeholders to drive largescale highvalue impactful global enterprise deals and agreements in a fastpaced environment.
This is not a purely transactional role successful candidates will develop negotiation strategies mitigate risks and optimize contracts to maximize longterm value for the organization.
The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of negotiating highimpact technology deals a good understanding of AI and cloud contracts and the ability to navigate complex vendor relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the endtoend negotiation process for highvalue agreements including cloud services AI technologies software licensing content delivery networks (CDN) professional services SaaS and technology development.
- Draft review and redline complex technology agreements ensuring favorable terms and risk mitigation.
- Demonstrate subject matter expertise in AIrelated contract provisions and AIenabled products and services providing strategic guidance on evolving regulatory and commercial risks.
- Lead RFP processes including prebid and postbid activities ensuring alignment with business and financial objectives.
- Analyze proposals vendor capabilities and conduct due diligence including background checks.
- Provide datadriven insights and market intelligence to inform decisionmaking.
- Collaborate with legal finance information security and governance teams to ensure timely project .
- Build and manage executivelevel vendor relationships to maximize value and drive continuous improvements.
- Manage and optimize procurement processes ensuring accurate contract and spend data in procurement databases.
- Identify cost reduction opportunities leverage competitive intelligence and develop strategic sourcing initiatives.
Qualifications :
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business Procurement Supply Chain or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in procurement or vendor management with a focus on IT products and services.
- Proven experience negotiating complex technology agreements including AI cloud infrastructure and enterprise software/SaaS.
- Solid contract redlining and drafting skills with an ability to partner effectively with legal teams to structure favorable terms.
- Deep understanding of AIrelated contract provisions regulatory considerations and commercial risks.
- Working knowledge of generative AI cloud infrastructure and emerging technology trends.
- Solid commercial acumen with demonstrated success in structuring enterprise agreements that drive cost savings and business value.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and cost analysis including advanced Excel functions (pivot tables data analysis).
- Experience leading RFPs conducting vendor due diligence and managing complex supplier negotiations.
- Exceptional executive communication stakeholder engagement and presentation skills.
- Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.

- Solid analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to develop innovative sourcing strategies.
- Professional procurement certifications (e.g. CPSM CIPS) are a plus.
- Prior experience with procurement in the media and entertainment industry or other technologydriven sectors is highly desirable.
- Experience working in a global enterprise environment collaborating across multiple affiliates and geographies.
- Familiarity with cloud cost optimization strategies AI contract risk mitigation and software licensing best practices.
This position has been designated as hybrid generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits including medical dental and vision insurance 401(k) paid leave tuition reimbursement and a variety of other discounts and perks.
