As a Java Backend Developer at Endava you will play a key role in delivering scalable microservices and cloudbased solutions using Java and Azure technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain backend microservices using Java 11 and Spring Boot.
- Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle from technical design to deployment.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines unit/integration tests and reusable code aligned with best practices.
- Collaborate with QAs frontend developers and other technical roles to ensure highquality software delivery.
- Work on cloudnative solutions using Azure Functions Azure App Services and Docker.
- Engage in code reviews backlog refinement and solution discussions.
- Ensure technical alignment with architectural patterns and nonfunctional requirements.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.
Qualifications :
- 68 years of backend development experience ideally in cloud environments.
- Proficiency in Java 11 Spring Boot RESTful APIs and containerization (Docker).
- Handson experience with Azure services including Functions and App Services.
- Familiarity with OpenAPI specification and scalable microservice design.
- Understanding of CI/CD practices and infrastructureascode concepts.
- Bonus: Experience with Python Spark Databricks Azure Event Hub ADF or Delta Tables.
- Exposure to frontend technologies like Angular 9 and TypeScript 3.8 is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and team collaboration experience.
- Advanced English level mandatory.
