Job Description
We are seeking a skilled individual to join our Group Finance team. This key team member will assist in preparing halfyear and yearend Group financial statements manage the audit process and prepare holding company management and statutory accounts. They will partner with Legal and Finance departments develop sustainability reporting support subsidiary accountants and enhance the control environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements and relevant notes/disclosures.
- Support the Group audit process and liaise with external auditors.
- Assist UK subsidiary accountants with their financial statements.
- Draft technical accounting papers and assess new accounting standards.
- Develop and integrate sustainability reporting.
- Prepare consolidation entries for Group management accounts.
- Manage accounting risks and improve the control environment.
- Monitor FX translation risk and work with the Treasury team.

Qualifications :
Qualifications & Technical knowledge:
- Degree educated and qualified accountant (preferably ACA)
- Use of financial reporting systems (e.g. Microsoft D365 SAGE200 OneStream)
- Welldeveloped analytical and Excel skills (experience using Power Query or Power BI)
Personal Specification:
- Results orientated and highly numerate
- Highly motivated and ability to work independently
- Welldeveloped influencing and senior stakeholder engagement and management skills
- Ability to identify process improvements and embed change
