Job Description
SIFMA is currently looking for a Summer Intern. An internship at SIFMA gives candidates handson experience working on substantive and challenging projects while collaborating with experts in the financial services industry and public policy arena.
Throughout the nineweek program each intern will be assigned specific projects to be completed by the programs end and for which they will receive authorship credits.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree; Finance or Public Policy coursework highly desirable.
- Demonstration of excellent clerical organizational time management and written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical skills including a full working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with database use and functionality.
- Ability to prioritize tasks/workload.
- Demonstrates professional demeanor.
- Commitment to provide superior customer service with all levels of internal management and staff as well as outside clients.
- Shows work effectiveness persistency and commitment.

Hourly rate: $18 per hour
