Job Description
Ever wondered what it feels like to be a Database Engineering Intern in Netcompany
As a Database Engineering Intern you will:
- Design and develop database ensuring optimal performance security and scalability.
- Maintain and enhance existing databases to improve performance.
- Collaborate with application developers to integrate databases with existing applications and support application development.
- Write well-designed testable efficient database scripts stored procedures and functions.
- Provide support by troubleshooting and resolving database issues.
- Document database schemas and development processes.
- Stay informed of new technologies and best practices in database development.
Qualifications :
What would make you a fit for the role:
- Current student status at BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science or other relevant fields
- Understanding of SQL and academic experience with database technologies such as MySQL PostgreSQL Oracle.
- Experience with database design documentation and coding.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
