Job Description
Oneida Engineering Solutions has an immediate opening for a Transportation Construction Inspector in northwestern Illinois. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to work on current and future IDOT Illinois Tollway or other local agency roadway and bridge construction projects. This fulltime position will be responsible for construction inspection materials documentation field measurements daily diary entries and final construction documentation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Construction inspection experience working with Illinois Tollway Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) or other state DOT.
- Valid drivers license
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Associate degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- IDOT Documentation of Contract Quantities Certification
- Experience using Civil 3D AutoCAD or MicroStation
- Established relationships with IDOT consultants and staff
- Experience working with Microsoft 365
Compensation Range:
$2843/Hour
