Join INTRALOT as an Application Support Engineer
Your Role: As an Application Support Engineer your role is both dynamic and pivotal. Youll be at the forefront of ensuring seamless operations by:
Monitoring and resolving open production issues at the 2nd level within designated timeframes.
Promptly initiating a Problem report when the root cause of an incident remains unidentified.
Conducting advanced troubleshooting for production incidents and problems.
Taking ownership of problem monitoring and tracking with a focus on process improvement for recurring issues.
Reproducing incidents and validating fixes through regression testing.
Contributing to root cause analysis efforts to prevent future outages or quality issues.
Flexibility is key as this position may require shift work and occasional international travel due to our global clientele.
Job requirements
To excel in this role you should:
Hold a degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
Possess 1-2 years of experience in Application Support System Administration SW-QA or DEVOPS.
Have solid system administration skills particularly in Linux environments (Windows experience is a plus).
Demonstrate proficiency in MySQL and familiarity with Oracle or Mongo DB.
Bonus points for experience in automation testing and scripting languages.
Be familiar with monitoring tools such as Nagios Grafana and NewRelic.
Communicate effectively in both written and spoken Greek and English.
Prioritize teamwork and value collective success over individual achievements.
