As a Software Engineering Manager you will lead and inspire a team of talented mobile engineers to create exceptional mobile experiences that empower our hobbyists. We are looking for a team member driven by usercentric approaches innovation collaboration agility and commitment to quality. Your strategic vision and leadership will be key in ensuring our mobile experience is at the forefront of technology and provides unparalleled hobbyists experiences.

What you will accomplish:

• Lead and manage geographically distributed engineering scrum team that focus on developing upgrading scaling and advancing our flagship mobile experience

• Drive the technical architecture and implementation of mobile platform and solutions ensuring security scalability reliability performance and amazing user experience

• Develop and communicate a clear vision and roadmap for mobile development aligned with business goals

• Foster strong relationships with crossfunctional teams including product leaders marketing sales and customer experience to ensure seamless collaboration knowledge sharing and alignment

• Track and report project progress identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to support successful project outcomes

• Develop and acquire talent and expertise required for successful of engineering priorities
  

What you will bring:

• 5 years of experience managing and leading mobile engineering teams

• Strong knowledge of native mobile app architecture design patterns and lifecycle both iOS and Android

• Leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve their goals

• Strong background in hiring retaining and developing software engineers and leaders

• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate project status risks and opportunities to stakeholders and ensure alignment across the organization

• Ability to triage and manage complex production issues

• Experience leading teams using agile planning principles like Scrum for estimating planning retrospectives etc. is preferred
