Position Overview:
TheLife Cycle Plannerwill be responsible for managing and implementing engineering changes in our manufacturing processes. This role involves coordinating with various teams including Engineering manufacturing Planning and sourcing to ensure that changes are implemented effectively and efficiently. The Life Cycle Planner will also be responsible for creating maintaining and executing plan for every part in Engineering Change orders ensuring that the phase in /phase out process is followed change is coordinated across the organization.
This role reports to the Senior SIOP Manager
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and implement engineering change orders in coordination with engineering manufacturing and supply chain teams.
  • Review and approve engineering change requests ensuring they are necessary feasible and beneficial.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of engineering changes including reasons for the change the implementation process and any impact on the manufacturing process inventory
  • Coordinate with the procurement team to manage any changes in materials or suppliers resulting from engineering changes.
  • Monitor the implementation of engineering changes to ensure they are carried out effectively and efficiently.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on the engineering change process.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented engineering changes and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Monitor slow moving inventory and provide recommendations to generate cash flow.
Required Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Supply chain management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in an engineered configured to build environment
  • 3 years experience in Supply planning or managing engineering change orders.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using engineering software and tools (Oracle WindChill tableau).
  • Experience in a leadership role is preferred.
  • Certification in Project Management or related field would be an advantage.
