Job Description
Description
- Manage and implement engineering change orders in coordination with engineering manufacturing and supply chain teams.
- Review and approve engineering change requests ensuring they are necessary feasible and beneficial.
- Maintain detailed documentation of engineering changes including reasons for the change the implementation process and any impact on the manufacturing process inventory
- Coordinate with the procurement team to manage any changes in materials or suppliers resulting from engineering changes.
- Monitor the implementation of engineering changes to ensure they are carried out effectively and efficiently.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on the engineering change process.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented engineering changes and make adjustments as necessary.
- Monitor slow moving inventory and provide recommendations to generate cash flow.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Supply chain management or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in an engineered configured to build environment
- 3 years experience in Supply planning or managing engineering change orders.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using engineering software and tools (Oracle WindChill tableau).
- Experience in a leadership role is preferred.
- Certification in Project Management or related field would be an advantage.
