Job Description
The Hydroblasting Operator will perform a wide range of physical activities that require strength and flexibility of whole body for handling positioning moving and manipulating equipment and materials emergency response vacuum truck operations waste disposal site remediation and highpressure water blasting.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate and setup all necessary cleaning equipment such as highpressure pumps in service line hydroblasting and vacuum) in accordance with operational and training and guidelines and safety procedures.
- Adhere to all safety policies and practices including but not limited to personal protective gear.
- Ability to work safely in and around heavy machinery in loud hazardous and heaving industrial settings.
- Manually clean install fit repair valves caps hoses pumps gaskets and all other external and internal equipment on tanks.
- Assist in the inspection of equipment hoses connections pumps and general work area prior to starting any job. Informs supervisor of deficiencies which may cause accidents injuries or lost productivity.
Requirements:
- Must be able to travel for extended periods of time
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to work for extended periods of time within a confined space in extreme temperature environments and at high elevation.
- Ability to perform duties in accordance with training and standard operating procedures Ability to understand and follow specific procedures and directions.
- Ability to lift move and handle up to 50lb hoses
