Permanent Highway Maintenance Worker 1 (HMW1 or Highway Technician 1 (HT1
The selected candidate will be placed in the classification in which they meet minimum qualifications.
What You Will Do:
You will serve the public and work to make the roads in Ohio safer.
You will attend training to obtain CDL licensure; if not already a licensed CDL holder.
You will perform highway maintenance activities; including flagging pothole patching repairing guardrails litter pickup mowing.
You will perform snow & ice operations.

All bargaining unit new hires must serve a one 1 year probationary period.
Position will be filled pursuant to the provision of the OCSEA/AFSCME Contract.
The final candidate selected for this position will be required to undergo a criminal background check. An individual assessment of an applicants prior criminal convictions will be made before excluding an applicant from consideration.
