In line with the 2024 Enterprise Agreement clause 1.15.5 & 1.15.6.2 the University is committed to growing the number of Continuing jobs and to increase the proportion of Continuing employment FTE in comparison to FixedTerm or Casual employment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drive Recruitment Excellence: Manage endtoend recruitment processes from vacancy consultation to candidate screening ensuring high standards and timely delivery
  • Enhance Candidate Experience: Build positive relationships with candidates ensuring a satisfying recruitment journey and maintaining strong talent pools
  • Provide Expert Guidance: Advise stakeholders on recruitment policies best practices and diversity initiatives contributing to the Universitys strategic goals
  • Contribute to Continuous Improvement: Support innovative attraction strategies leverage various sourcing channels and contribute to the Employee Value Proposition initiatives

You may be a great fit if:
You are a dedicated recruitment professional with excellent interpersonal skills a strong customer service orientation and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships while delivering highquality outcomes in a dynamic environment.

You may also:

  • Possess a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Have a working knowledge of employment law related to hiring and selection
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships
  • Be experienced with recruitment platforms like PageUp and ServiceNow
  • Show adaptability and flexibility in providing talent acquisition services
  • Have a strong commitment to continuous improvement and service excellence
  • Be adept at managing sensitive information with strict confidentiality

Your new team Talent Acquisition
The Talent Acquisition Team provides specialist recruitment services to the university. Supporting both Academic and Professional roles the team provides bestpractice expertise for hiring internal and external staff. The Talent Acquisition Team and this role are part of the HR Services Group which provides other specialist and transactional support across the employee lifecycle including HR administration payroll and travel services.
