About The Role & Team
Were looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join the Analytics Usability team within Amplitude. You will be part of a passionate group of engineers helping modern businesses transform their products through data.
As a Fullstack Engineer you will be responsible for partnering closely with your teams Product Manager and Product Designer to ship bestinclass features from end to end for our Analytics product. If youre someone who loves building userdelighting experiences then wed love to speak with you!
As a Senior Engineer you will:
- Work with Product Management and Design to generate and turn novel ideas for solving customer problems into engineering solutions
- Drive business impact through owning endtoend delivery of projects
- Strong critical thinking and problemsolving mindset with attention to detail
- Get involved in performance optimization and scaling efforts
- Drive business impact through leading the highestleverage projects
- Possess exceptional communication skills and a proven track record of successful delivery and .
- Constant desire to learn and grow in the field of web development
- Have interest or experience in technical leadership of an engineering team
- Mentor and contribute to the success of other engineers on the team
Youll be a great addition to the team if you:
- 5 years of experience developing and improving on robust scalable backends for userfacing applications
- 5 years of experience developing interactive userfacing applications and websites
- Understand the whole stack and flow of userfacing web applications.
- Backend experience with application backends microservices and supporting highthroughput ingestion systems
- Strong critical thinking and problemsolving mindset with attention to detail
- Can synthesize customer input and architectural knowledge to create an outsized engineering impact
- Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to changing requirements
- Constant desire to learn and grow in the field of web development
- Have experience managing CI/CD pipelines
- Strong practitioner of automated testing
- Have familiarity with the following: JavaScript TypeScript Python
- Have interest or experience in technical leadership of an engineering team

Based on legislation in California the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in San Francisco Bay Area of California. Salary range: $177000 $266000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)
Based on legislation in California the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in California outside of the San Francisco Bay Area. California salary range: $159000 $239000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)
