Join INTRALOT as a Network Engineer (Customer ICT)
Your role:
As a Network Engineer at Intralot you will play a pivotal role in providing advanced 3rd level) technical support for INTRALOTs global projects addressing networkrelated issues both remotely and onsite.
More specifically some of your main tasks will be:
Network Monitoring and Maintenance
- Monitor and maintain networkrelated equipment across all sites responding promptly to alerts and outages
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new solutions while enhancing the resilience of current network environments.
- Establish and manage network environments by designing system configurations directing system installations and defining documenting and enforcing system standards.
Optimizing Network Performance
- Maximize network performance by monitoring performance metrics troubleshooting network issues and outages and scheduling and implementing upgrades.
- Collaborate with network architects on optimization initiatives and configure routing switching and loadbalancing devices.
- Upgrade network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases.
Documentation and Housekeeping
- Implement and coordinate housekeeping activities
- Maintain updated network documentation and designs.
Job requirements
To thrive in this role you should meet these qualifications
A University or College Degree in Network Engineering Computer Science Information Technology Digital Systems or a related technology field.
A minimum of two 2 years of experience in Network Engineering.
Network Security Solutions (Cisco Fortinet Check Point Palo Alto).
Load Balancing/Application Delivery (Citrix ADCs F5 BigIP).
Handson experience with network monitoring diagnostic and analytics tools.
Experience with VMWare.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience is a plus.
Knowledge of automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible is preferred.
Cisco: CCNA (required)
CheckPoint: CCSA
Strong communication skills in Greek and English.
Teamoriented and collaborative.
Flexibility to travel abroad to customer locations if needed.
