The Human Resource Coordinator reports into the Cluster HR Manager and is a Full Time cluster role supporting two Melbourne hotels Melbourne Marriott Hotel Docklands and AC by Marriott Southbank.
- Responsible for the coordination of the HR activities programs and initiatives setting the pace in the industry
- Coordinate the onboarding of associates including Day 1 welcome and orientation and HR onboarding
- Prepare employment contracts
- Assist with all areas of recruitment including job posting candidate screening arranging interviews reference checks ensuring compliance with work rights requirements.
- Liase with heads of departments regularly to support recruitment requirements and to provide updates on HR programs policies and processes.
- Complete all aspects of the employee life cycle
- Plan organize and execute regular activities for associates
- Maintain employee back of house areas and noticeboards
- Assist HR Manager with preparation and coordinate of fortnightly payroll
- Previous hotel experience
- Recent experience in a similar HR support role
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Working rights in Australia
- Compliance focuses
- Confident decision maker and able to work autonomously
