As a Technical Project Manager you will oversee and coordinate the development of TCGplayers next generation point of sale software a critical component of a Local Game Stores business and TCGplayers business strategy. You will play a crucial role in driving the success of technology initiatives that deliver value to our customers. This position requires a strategic thinker who can manage complex projects while fostering collaboration and innovation across teams. If you are an experienced project manager who is looking to work with a passionate and innovative team in a fun industry then this position might be right for you!
What you will accomplish:
Coordinate with engineering managers and other project managers to create detailed project plans that outline specific tasks timelines milestones and resources required to achieve project goals.
Prepare comprehensive project reports and presentations that provide insights into project status risks and outcomes.
Create RAID logs to identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and quality.
Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders including clients team members and upper management. Regularly update stakeholders on project progress and potential issues.
Analyze project status and when necessary revise the scope schedule or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met.
Continuously evaluate project management processes and make recommendations for improvements.
This is a handson role; you will be responsible for creating many types of project artifacts and deliverables.
What you will bring:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Project Management or a related field (professional certification such as PMP is desirable).
8 years of experience as a Project Manager managing largescale and complex projects in an Agile software development company.
Proficient with Jira Software; especially Reporting and Advanced Roadmaps.
Familiarity with other project management software (e.g. MS Project Smartsheet Monday).
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a strong attention to detail regarding deadlines and milestones.
Excellent communication (verbal & written) presentation negotiation and interpersonal skills.
