DescriptionServiceChannels Professional Services and Implementation team is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our high performing team. The Project Manager is responsible for managing the functional and technical implementation of the ServiceChannel platform for new and existing customers working with clients to ensure a smooth and thorough adoption of our products that meets their specific business needs. You will provide guidance and direction on the use of ServiceChannel configurations integrations facilitating and coordinating all activity necessary to move from idea to project kickoff and delivery. This position requires an experienced professional who has the desire to be part of a fast moving highly skilled team.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Manage projects with topdown oversight throughout entire to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope budget and timeline.
- Deliver and maintain project plans and schedules to track project progress.
- Monitor project progress continuously make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items (such as milestones and deliverables).
- Communicate proactively with all involved stakeholders to provide encouragement identify problems create solutions and implement mitigation plans while managing risk appropriately.
- Act as a business consultant demonstrating understanding of functionality within ServiceChannel including integration specific details such as file transfers single sign on data feeds and APIs in order to guide clients through all stages of the implementation process.
- Engage with customers to gather and document functional requirements to create detailed specifications to the customers business requirements budget and timelines.
- Communicate functional and technical concepts to nontechnical/technical users alike at all levels of an organization.
- Build trust crossfunctionally provide leadership to the project team and foster a collaborative team environment.
- Identify and solve complex process and technologyrelated problems during the rollout process working with cross functional team members to gather details of reported issues and bring to a quick resolution.
- Participate in crossfunctional teams acting as an advocate for the user to ensure customer needs are met.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience preferably within a SaaS organization
- 5 years experience in enterprise software implementations / application deployments / Professional Services
- PMP certification preferred but not required
- Demonstrated understanding of all aspects within the software development lifecycle including technical components
- Experience with Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) preferred but not required
- Demonstrated understanding and adherence to project management methodologies (waterfall/agile)
- Demonstrated understanding of the full implementation life cycle for enterprise software and experience in managing each implementation phase.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve client issues independently and escalate when required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail & organization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects & budgets concurrently.
