AWS Aerospace and Satellite team is looking for an experienced Sr. Account Manager that has the experience and reputation for overachieving quota while focusing on the customer. They should also be a selfstarter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver on revenue targets. The ideal candidate will possess both a sales and technical background that enables them to drive an engagement at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT leaders.
The Sr. Account Manager will be an exceptionally strong and creative thinker who thrives in a team environment and embraces all aspects of selling.
They must be able to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment and have very strong verbal and written communication skills.
Key job responsibilities
A selfstarter to proactively pick up and progress the full sales cycle from initial inquiry to closure. We are looking for a team player who will focus on increasing awareness and adoption of AWS by directly engaging with space and satellite customers who are reinventing their space missions and business operations through cloud adoption.
Meet or exceed revenue targets
Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan
Coordinate activities of the extended team in support of account / territory plans
Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services
Accelerate customer adoption
Maintain a robust sales pipeline
Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption
Manage contract negotiations
Develop longterm strategic relationships with key accounts
Ensure customer satisfaction

7 years of full sales cycle technology sales or equivalent business development sales engineering/consulting or equivalent experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent
3 years experience with cloud services or in the Satellite Communications Sector or Ground Segment Industry
Knowledge and understanding of existing and developing technologies as it relates to cloud computing; understand and identify opportunities for customers
Track record of managing time efficiently meeting personal goals and working effectively with internal partner and customer teams
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
Technical acumen sales and listening skills
Ability to think and act independently within a fastpaced multitask driven environment
Experience with CRM preferred) and webbased meeting applications (e.g. Chime)
