State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements:
Related supervisory experience in food service
SCDC Minimum Requirements:
(Or an acceptable equivalency as approved by the Division of State Human Resources).
High School diploma;
Five 5 years of experience in quantity and quality cooking and one 1 year of supervisory experience.
Three 3 years experience in a correctional environment preferred.
Must be certified in Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) or SerSafe Manager or attain within six 6 months of employment.
Must be certified by the South Carolina Department of Corrections Training Academy or must successfully complete SCDC basic training upon hire.
Must successfully complete basic supervisory course within eighteen 18 months of employment.
Three 3 years experience in a correctional environment preferred.
