Job Description
We are seeking a Medical Assistant for a 13weeks travel/contract assignment in Burlington MA 01805.
Job Details:
- Weekly Pay Rate: $880 $1000
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Shift: Day Shift(8 7:00 start
Responsibilities:
- Rooming patients and preparing them for examinations
- Recording vital signs (e.g. blood pressure temperature pulse)
- Performing EKGs and waived testing
- Handling prescription refill requests
- Answering phones and triaging calls appropriately
- Scheduling patient appointments and followups
- Maintaining patient records in the EMR system (EPIC)
- Assisting with patient education and care coordination
- Supporting physicians and nurses in clinical tasks as needed
Requirements:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or Certified MA required

Certifications:

BLS/CPR certification required
-

Experience:
-
1 3 years of medical office experience required

EPIC EMR experience (preferred)
