Job Title: Head of Investments Public Markets
The Head of Investments Public Markets will be responsible for driving the Company s Asset Management investment strategy for publicly traded Money Market Instruments Fixed Income and Equity products and services. He/She will bear overall responsibility for managing Investment Funds Plans and Portfolios in these Asset Classes and ensure the attainment of investment objectives across the Public Markets Asset Classes.
In addition he/she will collaborate with the Head of Investments Private Markets (Alternative Assets) to achieve the company s short medium and longterm goals for the Portfolio Management Department. The role demands strategic vision rigorous analytical skills and comprehensive knowledge of financial markets to lead the Public Markets team in developing executing and optimizing investment strategies across publiclytraded Money Market Instruments Fixed Income and Equities.
Key Duties:
- Oversee the management of single and multiasset Funds Plans and Portfolios focusing on publiclytraded Money Market Instruments Fixed Income Equities and other public market securities.
- Conduct fundamental technical and quantitative analysis to guide investment decisions and outperform relevant benchmarks.
- Prepare and present monthly and quarterly macroeconomic forecasts model asset allocation and performance of Funds Plans and Portfolios at monthly Management Performance Review (MPR) and quarterly Board meetings.
- Participate in the Group s weekly Portfolio Review and Outlook meeting with other Investment professionals across the Group s operating companies.
- Achieve top quartile investment performance across products and services relative to industry peers.
- Implement appropriate risk management measures and review investment performance ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and investment policies.
- Ensure portfolio diversification efficient asset allocation and periodic rebalancing to optimize returns and minimize risks in line with agreed investment objectives.
- Conduct indepth research on industry trends and develop new investment products and services in Public Markets to take advantage of the public demand by existing and prospective clients increase Assets under Management and boost Revenue.
- Communicate investment strategy performance and market insights to clients and stakeholders.
- Work with the Business Development Department to develop customized client presentations reports and updates that provide transparency on investment processes and outcomes.
- Work closely with the Business Development Department to attract and retain institutional Ultrahighnetworth highnetworth and retail clients.
- Keep abreast of regulatory changes market dynamics and competitor activities to ensure informed and timely investment decisions.
- Provide leadership and training to junior Portfolio Managers.
- Any other tasks/responsibilities as may be assigned.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor s degree in Finance Economics Accounting or a related field.
- A Master s degree or MBA is a plus.
- The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification is compulsory.
- Professional certifications such as Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) or Certified Investment Specialist (CIS) are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Asset Management industry with a strong track record of managing Funds Plans and Portfolios across publiclytraded Money Market Instruments Fixed Income and Equities.
