We are Hiring Staff Nurse Emergency Departmentfor our Hospital client in Dublin.
Permanent Contract Full time 37.5 hours per week
Responsibilities
Using assessment skills and strategies to determine the patients needs during admission.
Thorough and accurate documentation of nursing admission assessments.
Continuously assess the patients condition.
Clearly state the patient problems for which nursing care will be provided.
Create and document a treatment plan based on patients needs and best practices.
Update the care plan whether written or computerised.
Provide care under minimum supervision in a timely accurate and safe manner.
Maintain a safe atmosphere for all patients visitors and staff.
Advocate as needed for the patients preserving their dignity and confidentiality.
Function efficiently in an emergency.
Adapt to changing workloads.
Requirements
Be registered on the general division of the register of nurses maintained by NMBI and hold a current NMBI PIN (essential)
Possess two years of experience working in an acute hospital setting after registering (important)
Have worked in an emergency department in the UK or Ireland for at least one year. (crucial)
Possess a valid emergency nursing course or certification. (preferred)
Possess demonstrated clinical and professional skills
Possess strong IT abilities and be adept at using all pertinent apps.
Have outstanding interpersonal and organizational abilities and be a great communicator.
Proficiency in both written and spoken English
Approach working patterns with flexibility
Demonstrated capacity to function well in a multidisciplinary team
