Job Description
Team Leadership
Lead mentor and manage team members thirdparty suppliers and project team members encouraging peers to collaborate and achieve common goals.
Foster a positive and productive work environment promoting collaboration and innovation.
Set clear goals and expectations providing regular feedback and coaching to peers and vendors.
Project Management
Collaborate with other teams in Nando s on enabling business projects.
Planning the projects including defining the scope resources and timeline with relevant parties.
Leading the project team and ensure the milestone stays on schedule and complete within the deadline.
Preparing budget and managing 3rd party vendors to adhere project budget tasks and timeline are successful delivered on time.
Data Pipeline Development & Integration:
Design develop and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines for collecting storing and processing large datasets from multiple sources.
Transforming complex data sets into easily interpretable and visually appealing charts graphs and other visual representations using Power BI tool.
Implement best practices to ensure high performance reliability and scalability across data processing workflows.
Ensure seamless data flow across internal and external systems integrating applications APIs and databases for consistent data synchronization and transfer.
Utilize scripting languages (Python SQL) for automating ETL processes data cleansing and integrating disparate systems.
Develop custom Python/SQL scripts to interact with thirdparty APIs for realtime data integration and synchronization.
Documentation & Best Practices:
Write clear maintainable code with detailed documentation to facilitate future development and code reuse.
Establish and enforce best practices for coding data storage and pipeline maintenance to ensure longterm efficiency and scalability.
Database Management & Optimization:
Ensure databases are secure highperforming and highly available.
Optimize queries and indexing to ensure fast efficient data retrieval and seamless integration.
Collaboration & Support:
Act as a liaison between stakeholders and solution providers to assess the feasibility and alignment of proposed solutions.
Provide crossfunctional support to integrate and maintain solutions in line with business needs and technical requirements.
Collaborate with technical teams including functional/system owners and subject matter experts across IT and network departments.
IT Testing & Implementation:
Actively participate in defining testing training implementing and supporting functional requirements.
Evaluate approaches for integrating cloud applications into broader enterprise systems and applications.
Manage and coordinate Change Requests or Project Requirements from business users ensuring that requirements are met within scope and on time.
User Training & Application Support:
Provide guidance and support to endusers on software applications configuration and technical troubleshooting.
Assist with the setup of software and hardware systems addressing user concerns and helping optimize user experience.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science Quantitative subject (Statistics Mathematics Actuarial Science) or related field.
- Minimum 58 years related working experience in related field.
- Planning managing and executing in IT related initiatives plus experience in leadership positions.
- Strong business acumen with good technical knowledge.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases
- Proven experience in database management and data integration across multiple platforms
- Experience in cloud computing like MS Azure
- Proficient in programming languages like Python Java or Scala.
