About the role
Bhumis SkillEd is a free skilling programme that equips marginalized youth from Engineering & Science backgrounds with technological and soft skills necessary to enter the IT sector. Since 2021 thousands of students have joined the IT workforce through this programme.
Key features:
Delivered by Bhumi volunteers and Corporate employee volunteers
Primarily offered in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka
Focuses on both emerging technologies and soft skills
A successful candidate will recruit eligible students for the programme and coordinate volunteerdelivered sessions.
Role and Responsibilities
- Identify and build relationships with potential employers to recruit Bhumis students.
- Organize placement drives job fairs and networking events to connect students with employers and industry experts.
- Conduct placement workshops mock interviews and employability training with industry professionals to boost job readiness.
- Understand students career goals and guide them toward suitable job opportunities through mentorship and counseling
- Share regular placement reports with the org leadership and conduct market research to align training with emerging job roles.

- Educational Degree: Graduation / PostGraduation
- Relevant Experience(in years)Others: 35 Years

- Ability to work autonomously
- Candidates with willingness to travel across South India will be preferred
