- Be the primary interface with Turner & Townsend cost management clients.
- Provide leadership to the team leaders within cost management and provide leadership and mentoring to the cost management team.
- Ensure all key staff members within the cost management teams have current and relevant training.
- Manage the delivery of cost management team outputs in accordance with agreed timescales and quality standards.
- Experience of working in the Australian construction market.
- Coordination and sign off on all management information produced by the cost management teams prior to issue.
- To win clients through strong business development skills.
- Management of tender documents appraisals and negotiations.
- SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role which are to be adhered to where applicable.
- Comply with the requirements of Turner & Townsends Business Management Systems including Health & Safety Environmental and Quality Management associated with the role and position within the company.
Qualifications :
- 15 years plus relevant industry experience
- Strong infrastructure experience in mobility or power & utilities sectors
- Clear understanding of and ability to implement strategies for growth with clear relevance to the local market context.
- Demonstrable reputation for challenge innovation and continued improvement.
- Highly motivated with a passion for delivering client excellence.
- Recognised tertiary qualification in Engineering Quantity Surveying Construction Management or similar.
- Additional industry accreditations advantageous (e.g. RICS AIQS CIOB APM etc..
- Proficiency in estimating software (CostX Expert Estimator similar).
- Excellent command of written and spoken English with ability to formulate professional reports and business generation material.
- Outstanding managerial and leadership skills with effective EQ and proven ability to lead highperforming teams.
