We are looking for a permanent Emergency Medical Assistant to join us in Hauraki/Coromandel on a relief roster. The domiciled station will be Thames but the roster will cover Thames Paeroa Whangamata and Waihi.
This is a permanent position starting late June working a 4 x 4 daydaynightnight roster.
We are looking for individuals who are adaptable and can settle into our team with ease work alongside both paid and volunteer staff and provide a high level of care to our patients. The ideal applicants would have a positive demeanour willingness to contribute to station portfolios and champion clinical excellence.
We are open to applications from those who do not currently hold First Responder or have experience as an Emergency Medical Assistant. For the right applicant we have an opportunity to provide training and courses to gain the skills for this role.
Courses required if not First Responder:
This is a livein course arranged by Hato Hone St John where you will stay onsite in Hamilton Monday Thursday for three weeks. Full attendance for the above dates is required.
