Job Description

Clean Water Action is seeking a Field Manager in Northampton MA to lead and support campaigns focused on clean water access affordability climate change and environmental justice. This leadership role is ideal for someone passionate about community organizing skilled in team management and eager to make a tangible difference in environmental and social justice initiatives

As a Field Manager you will:

  • Lead a team of Environmental Organizers in outreach fundraising and member recruitment activities.
  • Provide ontheground coaching and mentorship to ensure team members are equipped to succeed in their roles.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to meet campaign goals and drive grassroots advocacy.
  • Act as a liaison between field teams and leadership reporting progress challenges and insights.
  • Represent Clean Water Action in the community building strong relationships with residents and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the growth and sustainability of critical environmental campaigns through fundraising efforts and public engagement.

Qualifications :

  • Experience in leadership or team management ideally in grassroots organizing nonprofit work or advocacy campaigns.
  • Passion for environmental and social justice issues.
  • Strong communication organizational and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve campaign goals.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to equity diversity and inclusion.
  • Multilingual candidates and those with backgrounds in Sociology Political Science Public Health Environmental Studies or Communications are strongly encouraged to apply

This is an inperson role based in Northampton MA. Applicants must have reliable plans to commute or reside locally.
