The Purchasing Specialist will play a key role in both the operational and analytical aspects of Eurofins purchasing function in Trkiye. This role involves leading and supporting purchasing processes ensuring efficient and accurate order management while also contributing to crosscountry benchmarking initiatives to identify costsaving opportunities and improve supplier performance. This role follows a hybrid working model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daytoday purchasing activities including processing purchase requisitions issuing purchase orders tracking deliveries and resolving invoice or order discrepancies.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (labs finance operations) to gather purchasing needs and ensure timely procurement of goods and services.
- Maintain purchasing data and supplier information within ERP systems ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Monitor inventory levels and support replenishment activities in coordination with labs.
- Support crosscountry benchmarking projects by collecting and harmonizing purchasing data from various labs across Trkiye (and occasionally internationally).
- Analyze pricing structures and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) to uncover potential savings and harmonization opportunities.
- Evaluate suppliers based on cost quality service level and lead times and contribute to supplier performance improvement initiatives.
- Prepare regular reports and actionable insights for purchasing and category managers to support sourcing decisions.
- Ensure alignment with Eurofins procurement policies and compliance standards.

We are looking for a wellrounded Purchasing Specialist who combines strong analytical skills with handson purchasing experience and a solid understanding of procurement technologies. The successful candidate will play a key role in the integration and operational use of Coupa procurement tools across Eurofins Trkiye and international teams contributing directly to harmonization and cost optimization efforts.
What Were Looking For:
- Strong analytical mindset with advanced proficiency in Excel and the ability to structure and interpret large datasets to support decisionmaking.
- Proven problemsolving ability can break down complex multivariable challenges (e.g. total cost of operation across countries compliance with various local regulations) and propose actionable solutions.
- Experience in managing crossfunctional stakeholders and working collaboratively across teams.
- A balanced approach to data and people able to navigate resistance communicate the why and drive adoption of change.
- Precise and structured in data collection analysis and harmonization with a high attention to detail and consistency.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills able to present findings clearly and persuasively to senior leadership.
- Selfdriven with a strong sense of urgency and ownership committed to delivering highquality outcomes on time.
- Experience in managing and monitoring car lease agreements including contract followup cost control and coordination with both employees and suppliers.
Preferred Tools & Systems:
- Coupa experience is a strong advantage especially in integration data mapping and operational use across multiple locations.
- Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
- Experience with LIMS systems is a plus though not mandatory.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering Finance Business Administration or a related discipline.
- 57 years of experience in purchasing sourcing supply chain or financial analysis/benchmarking.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver crosscountry benchmarking projects and support strategic purchasing initiatives.
- Comfortable working with diverse stakeholder groups both locally and internationally.
