Host - Greeter Seasonal

Saddlehill Cellars in Voorhees NJ is looking to hire a fulltime or parttime Host Greeter. We pay $15 $17/hr and provide great benefits including bonus opportunities health benefits and a 401K plan with generous employer match. We are open 6 days a week 11:30 AM 9:00 PM serving lunch and dinner. We are closed on Mondays & Tuesdays. Available shifts include weekend and evening. May 1 Oct 31

ABOUT SADDLEHILL

Nestled in the heart of suburban New Jersey a mere 12 miles from the vibrant pulse of Philadelphia Saddlehill sits as an oasis spanning over 70 acres of vineyards and preserved farmland. Opening Spring 2024 our spacious tasting room overlooks the vineyards farm horse pastures and flower gardens. Saddlehill is set to become a distinguished destination with a 175seat farmtotable kitchen and tasting room. Opening for lunch and dinner our establishment will serve menu items crafted primarily from farmproduced ingredients. As part of our retail offerings we will sell our estatecrafted wines and a variety of foods made from ingredients grown onsite including jams sauces spreads and honey. We strive to make the tasting room a beautiful place for our customers to unwind and enjoy worldclass wine and food pairings.

HOST GREETER RESPONSIBILITIES

As a server you play a pivotal role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests. Your responsibilities include presenting menus providing detailed explanations taking accurate food and beverage orders and entering them into the POS system. You serve food and beverages promptly with accuracy and attention to detail. With thorough knowledge of all menu items ingredients preparation methods and allergens you cater to various dietary restrictions and proactively address guest inquiries and concerns. Collaborating with the kitchen and bar staff you ensure timely and coordinated service while monitoring guests experiences and recognizing when additional attention is needed. You maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area by promptly clearing and resetting tables informing management of special occasions or service interruptions processing payments accurately and handling cash transactions. Additionally you promote and upsell food and wine specials adhere to safety and sanitation standards and stay updated on the winerys offerings by attending tastings and training sessions. You follow all service procedures and complete assigned side work. The ideal candidate is friendly outgoing and has fantastic attention to detail.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in a similar customer service role (preferred)
• Must be 18 years or older
• Be a team player with excellent communication skills
• Ability to read write and communicate verbally in English
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fastpaced environment
• Have a warm friendly outgoing personality with a genuine desire to take care of others
• Willingness to learn basic knowledge of all wines and food pairings
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult customer situations professionally
• Flexible schedule including weekends evenings and holidays
• Has reliable transportation and be on time
• Bonus: has a passion for wine
