The Opportunity
At Adobe we are seeking a dedicated and ambitious Director of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to join our esteemed team. This is an outstanding opportunity to craft the strategic direction for SRE teams and initiatives ensuring flawless and operational excellence. What youll Do
- Define and evolve scalable global reliability standards and SRE practices for core components of the Adobe ecosystem
- Establish automation and selfservice strategies to improve operational efficiency and developer empowerment
- Champion observability monitoring and testing practices
- Establish a proactive approach to service reliability including the implementation of processes to ensure a highquality customer experience through problem avoidance
- Collaborate multifunctionally with engineering product and program management teams to achieve long term positive results related to operational rigor efficiency and engineering velocity1
What you need to succeed
- Degree or equivalent experience with 10 years of practical experience in SRE/DevOps leadership operating largescale globally distributed systems
- An iterative opinionated approach to deliver on the needs of the business today while evolving the longterm value of Site Reliability Engineering
- Proven track record of building and scaling highperforming SRE teams
- Deep expertise with cloud platforms (AWS GCP Azure)
- Solid understanding of infrastructure automation observability and distributed systems
- Understanding of CI/CD practices and tooling
- Experience implementing SLOs SLIs and error budgets
- Outstanding communication and collaborator leadership skills including influencing senior leadership crossorganizationally
- Critical thinking and prioritization skills
- Decisionmaking prowess in fastpaced environments
- Experience in incident resolution and process improvement
- Ability to champion a blameless culture and drive continuous improvement

The U.S. pay range for this positionis $179300 $354600 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on jobrelated knowledge skillsand experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.At Adobe for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC base commission) and shortterm incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Nonsales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and shortterm incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition certain roles may be eligible for longterm incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
