Job Description

McGee Air Services is looking for PartTime Lead Customer Service Agent at Paine Field in Everett WA. The pay range is $23.67$23.67 an hour.

The Lead Customer Service Agent will direct the daily activities of the team balance resources and is responsible for supporting a teams ability to achieve mutually established goals. This role is responsible for providing support in turning an aircraft ontime with a focus on safety and service. The Lead performs all Customer Service Agent duties while mentoring and setting an example for team members.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the assistance of customers with travel needs including checkin baggage boarding and general travel questions directly handling any escalated situations.
  • Assists in the preparation of flights by arranging seat assignments directing guests making announcements using a PA system processing upgrades and standby requests.
  • Assists with mishandled guests as a result of oversold flights delayed or cancelled flights lost delayed or damaged luggage.
  • Process and secure guest luggage. Enters and maintains delayed or damaged luggage claims using a data entry system.
  • At the direction of management may be assigned to perform duties of varying capacities to ensure complete guest satisfaction.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • A minimum of 6 months experience in airline customer service
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
  • Ability to learn and operate a computerized reservation system.
  • Typing speed of 25 WPM or more.
  • Ability to consistently lift 75lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to bend stoop squat reach and grasp.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematics.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to participate in paid trainingthat may require overnight travel.
  • Obtaining and maintaining an airport security clearance and/or customs seal including criminal history check drug screen and fingerprinting.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
