What Youll Do
As a Senior Staff Engineer youll work at the intersection of physics modeling and business value. Whether youre solving fluid dynamics problems or delivering clear strategic insights to clients your technical leadership will directly contribute to customer satisfaction and business growth.
PreSales Support
- Work with Account Managers to assess customer needs
- Deliver software demos and technical presentations
- Provide input on solution recommendations during the sales cycle
- Analyze customer workflows business needs and infrastructure to recommend wellsuited solutions.
- Partner with the Account Manager to develop strategies that support growth and longterm engagement
Technical Support
- Provide support to endusers of Ansys Fluent and CFX via phone email or in person
- Troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution
- Collaborate with support managers to uphold service excellence
Consulting
- Scope quote and perform projects based on customer requirements including meshing assigning boundary conditions solving and postprocessing
- Deliver technical reports and other documentation as requested
Technical Training
- Deliver Ansys training online onsite and at SimuTech offices
- Tailor sessions to user skill level and application focus
- Support customer enablement through ongoing learning opportunities

Required Experience
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Masters or Ph.D. preferred)
- 58 years of professional engineering experience
- Expertise in ANSYS Fluent CFX or other CFD tools
- Excellent customerfacing presentation and communication skills
- Strong foundation in fluid mechanics heat transfer and numerical methods
Preferred Experience
- Demonstrated understanding of how CFD tools are used in various industries as well as the ability to understand represent and effectively communicate technical activities within customer accounts
- Experience in specialized domains such as multiphase flow turbomachinery or combustion
Prior technical software presales or consulting experience - Technical publications or documentation demonstrating subject matter depth
- Eligible for (or willing to pursue) Canadian Professional Engineering . licensure

Pay range: $92000 $121000 Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors including a candidates qualifications skills competencies experience and location)
