Job Summary
We are seeking a fulltime 40hour Medical Assistant II to support the practice onsite Monday through Friday 8:30am 5:00pm. Our Medical Assistants play an integral part in the operations of our communitybased physician practices. Dedicated to clinical support the Medical Assistant ensures a smooth patient flow within the practice and assists in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of physician or advanced practitioner. Our Medical Assistants work 1:1 with providers as well as partnering with one of our Practice Coordinator team members as our support model.Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required or Associates Degree Medical Assisting preferred

Licenses and Credentials
Basic Life Support BLS Certification Data Conversion Various Issuers preferred Certified Medical Assistant National Certification Data Conversion Various Issuers preferred
Experience
Direct MA experience or medical field work 12 years required
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for success in this position.
Ability to prioritize tasks in complex and busy environments.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Comply with all local state and federal privacy and confidentiality rules and regulations.
Ability to take vital signs and manual blood pressure as well as collect blood samples and other specimens.
Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology procedures and protocols.
Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical office software.
Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions conclusions or approaches to problems.
Managing ones own time and the time of others.
