Are you ready to go beyond

Pratt & Whitney seeks a highly motivated Senior Project Lead Engineer to support our Hot Section Engineering Support to Operations (ESTO) Team.

What You Will Do:

  • Key liaison for commercial and military multidisciplinary groups engaging directly with engineering management program leadership shop floor operations and suppliers.
  • Strategic operations oversight including task planning producibility improvements quality notifications (QN) shop disposition orders (SDO) and Class 2 Engineering Change activitiesonly initiating deviations based on capability study results.
  • Datadriven decisionmaking in complex scenarios fostering collaboration within Hot Sections Engineering (HSE) teams to ensure timely hardware deliveries and drive process/hardware producibility improvements.
  • Project and financial accountability managing SDO and dropin tasks under IPT Lead direction while maintaining budgets and charge numbers.
  • Process innovation and outsourcing strategy leading efficiency improvements and executing proactive/reactive outsourcing initiatives to optimize workflow.
  • Travel up to 10(Domestic & International).

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • A Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering and 5 years of relevant engineering experience or an Advanced degree and 3 years of relevant engineering experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience or desire to lead projects.
  • Focus on results with the ability to drive projects to successful completion.
  • CORE tool application experience.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing shop environment.

Department/Segment Overview: The Engineering Support to Operations (ESTO) department provides dedicated support by eliminating quality notifications escapes works stops and enabling producibility and delivery of legacy and new parts assemblies modules and engines. ESTO covers all engine programs and part families enabling engine deliveries first piece reviews first article inspections analysis automation process certification. ESTO also supports the Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) initiative in Operations. Technical disciplines in ESTO include Project Engineering Mechanical Design Structural Analysis Product Definition and Manufacturing Engineering.

What is my role type: In addition to transforming the future of flight we are also transforming how and where we work. Weve introduced role types to help you understand how you will operate in our blended work environment. This role is:

  • Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles commuting to and from the assigned site is the employees personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 82000 USD 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
