Researches defines aligns develops and implements strategic initiatives and system enhancements. Manages product risks in compliance with legal regulatory and risk compliance and reporting. Collaborates with internal partners across the enterprise to take products to market.

  • Develops solutions and makes recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder needs.

  • Supports change management of varying scope and type; tasks typically focused on and sustainment activities.
  • Executes work to deliver timely accurate and efficient service.
  • Gathers customer and sales feedback and analyzes issues.
  • Acts as the day to day contact for IT and business partners.
  • Leads/participates in the design implementation and management of core business / group processes.
  • Works with partners to develop salesforce training and materials and manages change.
  • Works independently on a range of complex tasks which may include unique situations.
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed
  • Leveraging customercentric thinking discovery and research rapid iteration and lean practices to quickly validate backlog concepts
  • Managing product management activities by developing expertly defined stories identifying and managing dependencies ensuring research and design following and enhancing processes defining acceptance criteria and quality measures
  • Generating all product project and platform artifacts for product development (business cases costbenefit analyses product overviews) and product management (platform requirements project briefs epics stories etc.
  • Acting as product owner in agile/scrum product development or project owner in conventional product development as needed
  • Supports various systems projects for the business unit including system implementations upgrades and enhancements.
  • Provides overviews of the business and related processes and controls; answers questions; responds to requests for information; attends audit meetings; and implements solutions to remediate findings and recommendations
  • Manages relationships with peers business partners and vendors to ensure that bank objectives are achieved.
  • Analyzing product opportunities advocating for great digitalchannel experiences
  • Partnering closely with different business teams representing user and bank needs presenting to internal stakeholders as the product expert
  • Supports the line of business on projects and strategic initiatives
  • Drive development and implementation of an overall user acceptance testing strategy for the line of business applications to ensure the team can effectively manage large complex releases to ensure high quality implementations in partnership with a variety of stakeholders across the organization
  • Facilitate resources to ensure coverage of crossfunctional support and testing functions. Overseethe creation of test cases engagement of testers of testing manage the escalation of issues and provide go / no go recommendations.
  • Represent the interests of stakeholders and promote efficiency and usability in lending technology design
  • Work with Technology & Operations (T&O) to define detailed requirements to guide the technology development process and review detailed requirements documents to ensure accuracy and timely approval
  • Propose rollout plans for approval by the Director of Product Management including identifying training needs communication plans and change management; develop or collaborate in the development of associated materials and communication; conduct training as required
  • At any point in time manage or be involved in several significant initiatives that require substantial crossorganizational collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Typically between 5 7 years of relevant experience and postsecondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong experience with consumer / commercial credit applicable to retail and business financing products.
  • Strong experience working with retail and business product fundamentals including product design functionality and related policies and procedures
  • Strong knowledge of product delivery infrastructure systems and underlying product interdependencies.
  • Indepth retail and business banking environmental awareness / understanding.
  • Indepth risk management associated with new and existing product development and management.
  • Strong knowledge of process coordination and management.
  • Strong knowledge of banking product management and associated industry and regulatory requirements.

$72500.00 $134500.00

Pay Type:

Salaried

The above represents BMO Financial Groups pay range and type.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location skills experience education and qualifications for the role and may include a commission structure. Salaries for parttime roles will be prorated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Groups expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Groups total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performancebased incentives discretionary bonuses as well as other perks and rewards.
