The Senior Software Developer at WORLDPAC plays a key role in maintaining and growing the WORLDPAC success story. Responsibilities

Formal Education & Certification

  • College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science information systems or software engineering and/or 15 years equivalent work experience.

Knowledge & Experience

  • 15 years of progressive work experience with solution designing and developing with a thorough understanding of Supply Chain solutions.
  • Proficiency in a variety of programming languages including RPG III ILE SQL CL
  • Excellent understanding of RPG and SQL coding methods and best practices.
  • Extensive DB2 relational database and operating systems experience with OS/400.
  • Prior experience interviewing endusers for insight on functionality interface problems and/or usability issues.
  • 10 years relating to developing and supporting Warehouse Management EDI mapping and processing Supply Chain and Distribution Sales Order Processing Transportation and Shipping Purchasing Inventory and Finance.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding to adhere to common standards and change management tools on IBM i servers.
  • 15 plus years of experience related to IBM i platform
  • Ability to bring solution idea to fruition by working with a team or individual to design development test implementation and support.

  • Able to communicate professionally and effectively with technical and nontechnical staff and with members of interdisciplinary teams.
  • Flexible and adaptable in regards to learning and understanding new technologies.
  • Strong written oral and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct research into softwarerelated issues and products.
  • Highly selfmotivated and directed.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Proven analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a highpressure environment including deadline pressure.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a teamoriented collaborative environment.

Pay Range

USD $115500.00 USD $150000.00 /Yr.
