Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop enhance and maintain applications using RPG IV/ILE CL and SQL on the IBM iSeries (AS/400) platform.
- Customize support and extend MAPICS (Infor XA) ERP functionality to meet evolving business needs.
- Design and implement integrations using Infor ION including workflows document flows and business object documents (BODs).
- Develop and support interfaces using Infor XA System-Link for real-time XML-based communication with XA modules.
- Build and enhance user experiences using Infor XA IDF to support custom application development within the Infor ecosystem.
- Collaborate with business users and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with iSeries applications MAPICS modules and integration components.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for applications integrations and support procedures.
- Participate in system upgrades testing and validation activities related to ERP systems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Infor ION: ION Desk workflows BODs and API integrations.
- Hands-on experience with Infor XA System-Link and XML-based ERP communications.
- Strong knowledge of Infor XA IDF for extending ERP functionality and UI development.
- Understanding of core ERP modules (manufacturing inventory order management financials).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Experience with XA PowerLink and Net-Link.
- Familiarity with JSON REST APIs and other enterprise integration standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in IBM iSeries (AS/400) development.
- 3 years of hands-on experience with MAPICS/Infor XA ERP system.
- Proficient in RPG IV RPG ILE CL and DB2/400 SQL.
- Involvement in cloud or hybrid ERP modernization projects.
- Background in manufacturing distribution or industrial sectors.
