Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Recommend approaches for CMS to provide enterpriselevel analysis to support various strategic and management decisions
- Serve as the primary advisor to senior and executivelevel CMS clients on matters related to development and management of the agencys EA
- Provide ongoing domain level analysis of the CMS initiatives programs and projects.
- Work with a team of subordinate EAs in the development and delivery of EArelated services and products
- Provide ongoing domain level analysis of impacts of new legislation and CMS rules and regulations on CMS initiatives programs and projects
- Lead the integration of the clients EA planning processes with Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) and related Governance processes
- Facilitate Architecture Compliance reviews
- Research and recommend trends and innovative approaches in EA and the supporting technologies and analysis in response to CMS evolving strategic direction and changing business needs.
- Support CMS with proofs of concepts of trends and innovative approaches in EA and the supporting technologies and analysis in response to CMS evolving strategic direction and changing business needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 years of direct experience in Enterprise Architecture and its components for a large Federal Government Agency
- Demonstrate extensive practical experience and applied knowledge in EA development practices core principles and best practices in accordance with OMB guidance including the Federal Enterprise Architecture Collaborative Planning Methodology
- Ability to provide technical and analytical guidance as well as architectural oversight to EA Team
- Provide overall direction guidance and definition of business architecture to effectively support business strategy
- Experience with identifying and documenting capability and initiative needs and strategic prioritization into business architecture deliverable
- Integrates and translates complex concepts into tactical action plans
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prefer direct experience working with the Sparx EA and Prolaborate products
- Prefer experience in HHS and CMS
