Levi Strauss & Co. is hiring for its Digital and Technology Engineering team. You will develop userfacing applications to enhance the DTC experience. This full stack engineering role requires expertise in front end backend and DevOps engineering with the flexibility to work handson or manage projects with external vendors. You are technically experienced adaptable and experienced in delivering highquality applications.

About the Job

• Build end to end Retail apps Microservices and other services for available systems using public Cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure) applying ObjectOriented Design principles algorithms data structures DBMS/SQL and toptier Software Engineering practices.

• Conduct detailed analysis of requirements and technical environments to provide highquality technical solutions.

• Develop team member management including Business and IT leadership.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of code approach and architecture. Contribute to the teams repository of best practices and reusable solutions.

• Drive automated / selfservice solutions to decrease the incident resolution times for our customers.

• Participate in peer code reviews and thoroughly test solutions to ensure adherence to best practices and project requirements.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like Scrum or Kanban.

• You will manage team members and report to the Senior Manager of Retail Engineering.
  

About You

• Minimum of 8 years of experience with atleast 5 years of handson experience in Full Stack Development.

• Bachelors degree in information technology Software Engineering Computer Science or a related discipline.
  

Technology Expertise:

• Proficient in Java Spring Boot React JS/Angular JS Golang GraphQL and microservices architecture.

• Expertise in designing and deploying cloudbased applications with a preference with GCP/AWS.
  

Integration and API Management:

• Experience with several integration patterns have experience with web services REST APIs and asynchronous/synchronous communication methods.

• Experience with API management platforms API documentation versioning and monitoring with public cloud observability tools.

• Experience with eventdriven design.
  

DevOps and CI/CD:

• Experience in DevOps practices with handson knowledge of continuous integration and deployment tools (e.g. Jenkins GitHub).

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and delivering automation/regressiontested code.
  

Cloud and Containerization:

• Proficient in Kubernetes/Dockers serverless architecture messaging platforms (e.g. IBM MQ Kafka GCP Pub/Sub) and cloud integration techniques.
  

TestDriven Development:

• Experience writing testdriven code to ensure quality and maintainability. Proficiency with GitHub GitHub Actions.
  

Database Management:

• Handson experience with RDBMS NoSQL Postgres Redis databases.
  

Security and Compliance:

• Indepth knowledge of OWASP/security principles authentication mechanisms and encryption techniques within microservices and cloud environments.
  

This is a remoteeligible role with the option to be hybrid based in our San Francisco CA headquarters.

The expected starting salary range for this role is $128300 $183500per year.We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education qualifications performance and business needs.
