Job Description
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The Associate Brand Manager is responsible for implementing the marketing mix within the Tree Top Brand Private Label and other assigned product lines to deliver maximum profit and margin. Position executes activities related to pricing products packaging and processes in order to build channel and enhance its profitability.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
This position reports to the Senior Brand Manager and does not supervise staff. The position works closely with Sales Marketing Quality Assurance Production Procurement Customer Service Traffic Product Development Finance Purchasing external agencies and partners sales agents customers and consumers.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR ENTRY:
KNOWLEDGE OF:
- Principles and practices of marketing advertising promotions and general communication strategies.
- Working knowledge of marketing position and customer segmentation.
- Working knowledge of market analysis metrics research and monitoring mechanisms.
- General understanding of strategic planning and .
- Pertinent Federal State and local laws codes and regulations.
ABILITY TO:
- Effectively manage and lead multiple projects with multidisciplinary teams toward a shared goal.
- Maintain confidential and sensitive information.
- Think strategically in order to drive channel assigned results.
- Gain cooperation through discussion and persuasion.
- Identify research and analyze problems identify alternative solutions and project consequences of proposed actions.
- Effectively organize plan and execute.
- Use computers and computer software including word processing spreadsheets and databases.
- Meet behaviors established in Tree Tops performance management and development process.
EXPERIENCE CERTIFICATION/LICENSES AND TRAINING:
- A bachelors degree in business administration marketing or related field or additional experience in lieu of a degree is required. MBA preferred
- Preferred 35 years of experience in product/marketing/brand management.
- Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods is highly preferred.
