The wage range for this role is $19.17 21.78/hr.

Your tasks at a glance
- You explain the preoperative consent forms and paperwork clearly and accurately while ensuring excellent customer service.
- You respond to patient questions and concerns clearly and confidently while reassuring them and ensuring they understand the procedure.
- You explain the postoperative care steps and schedule accurately to the patient.
- You update the scheduling and patient file software after every appointment.
- You file charts and complete administrative tasks such as dayend and monthend reports as needed.
- You carry out any other tasks requested by the management team.
- You will be crosstrained as aClinical Assistant(once the initial training is completed).
A clear view of your assets
- You have experience as a receptionist medical secretary or administrative assistant AND/OR excellent customer service skills.
- You are comfortable with computers technology and Microsoft 365 (knowledge of EMR systems is an asset).
- You especially thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment and when you work as part of a team.
- You demonstrate a strong customer focus and good emotional intelligence.
- You stand out for your organizational and collaborative skills as well as your ability to work with minimal supervision.
- You have excellent communication skills in English.
- Your experience in an eyecare environment is an asset.
- You are comfortable traveling to other clinics for work (expenses covered by Vision Group).
- Schedule: You have flexible work availability MondayFriday as well as Saturday on a rotating basis.
