We are currently seeking a Dispatcher to join our team in Bridgeport TX. This critical role involves providing exceptional delivery service to our customers with a strong focus on attention to detail timeliness and professionalism. We are seeking a proactive and selfmotivated individual who is highly motivated and a team player possessing excellent interpersonal communication skills and a positive demeanor.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with the sales team to gather daily trucking demands and promptly notify them of any issues or concerns that may arise during the day.
- Ensure drivers receive accurate addresses and delivery instructions while also coordinating with truck owners/operators to provide necessary updates or retasking requests.
- Monitor job progress to ensure timely fulfillment of customer demands while prioritizing safety and efficiency and proactively communicate with customers in the event of any delays or late deliveries.
Requirements:
- High school diploma.
- Preferable but not required 2 years of dispatch experience.
- The company will train the right candidate.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) required.
- Must be computer literate and have strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment in highpressure situations.
- Office hours are 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
- Must be accessible by phone and email after hours
- Please note this is a salaried position and the range is based on experience and skills.
