A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RESOURCE SPECIALIST
In this position you will provide comprehensive objective telephone and/or inperson support to consumers inquiring about longterm care services housing options caregiver support Medicare counseling and other public benefits. You will also assist consumers in assessing their or their care receivers needs for services making decisions about service options assessing benefits and connecting with formal and informal providers.
QUALIFICATIONS
1 year of professional or internship experience in the social services field including longterm care health care provider social services provider or lead agency setting.
A bachelors degree in social work gerontology or related human services field strongly preferred. Do you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills Are you highly organized and detailoriented Do you have strong problemsolving skills Can you successfully work independently and alongside a team Are you great at time management If yes you may be perfect for this position!
WORK SCHEDULE FOR BENEFITS & OPTIONS SPECIALIST
This position is hybrid working onetwo days in the office and the remainder of the time at from home Monday Friday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
